DEFINING TECHNOLOGICAL RESOURCES

THIS WAS ONE OF OUR FIRST CLASSES, AND HERE WE HAVE SOME INTERESTING POINTS ABOUT TECHNOLOGICAL RESOURCES.

DEFINING TECHNOLOGICAL RESOURCES

1.-How many types of resources are there?

There are also digital and analog resources, analog resources such as textbooks, the overhead projector, and the videocassette recorder (VCR) are still used extensively in both corporate and educational settings, and resources like videocassettes, multimedia, curriculum materials, professional books, digital video disks, and CD-ROM”

Analog media are also still in widespread use in higher education, chalkboards, whiteboards, and overhead projectors serve a valuable function in enabling instructors to generate verbal and visual cues spontaneously to supplement lectures

2.-How are resourced appropriately used?

The term appropriate is used to modify resources to indicate that the hardware and software used in education should be selected with consideration of their suitability for and compatibility with educational goals. They should be selected through a process that meets professional standards and, on the positive side, encourages the use of “media that emphasize the diversity of our society as a multicultural community.”

These meanings of appropriate pertain to educational use in general, for example, the selection of materials for a school media-center collection or a corporate resource-center collection. When the resources are being considered for use as part of an instructional lesson or program, other issues come to the fore.

3.-How have the evolution of resources and emerging technologies affected the educational field?

Resources can be used to facilitate learning because they are specifically designed for learning purposes. These are usually called “instructional materials or resources.” other resources exist as part of the normal, everyday world, but can be discovered, applied, and used for learning purposes.

Resources are sources of support for learning, including support systems and instructional materials and environments. Resources can include whatever is available to help individuals learn and perform competently resources play an integral role in facilitating learning and improving performance.

All these changes have significantly affected everyone, especially those who were accustomed to working and studying on the traditional dais, all this has been for them a technological revolution, now for everything is used and technological resources are needed.

4.-How digital have tools changed the landscape of educational technology?

The early identification and the ongoing identity crises in the field of educational technology are inextricably connected with the emerging technologies of the day.  If  history  is  any  indicator,  educational  technology will continue to maintain a central focus on the use of emerging technology resources to improve learning, have totally changed the whole landscape because since the use of the internet and new technologies began to be introduced, it was something new and novel for everyone, although the use of the internet has always been expensive because it has become a necessity to have to hire such services, both for school tools and for work tools

5.-According to the reading, how are settings and people used as resources?

The setting in which learning and performance take place is internal or external, simple or complex, the ability to organize it appropriately is essential for educational technology professionals.

These people have advanced knowledge and experience dealing with specialized learning resources. They are often used when the knowledge and experience of the facilitator and/or learners need to be augmented with the advanced knowledge and understanding that these specialists can provide.

We take from each environment the tools that are useful to us for the development of our activities and tasks in the same way as people, people share their knowledge and the use of their resources, that way we all share information about how we use resources and how we apply them.

6.-What ethical issues are to be considered in the use of resources?

Issues such as cost, accessibility, and equitable allocation of resources have become increasingly important in recent years. A central ethical concern for educational technology professionals is the effort to ensure equitable access to resources for all learners.

7.-What assumptions mentioned by the author have changed after the pandemic?

For me many things have changed after the pandemic, although we are still in a pandemic, the use of technological resources has increased, and many people decided to stay at home and continue studying at a distance, for reasons of practicality or time, and with that, we have had to learn to make better use of electronic devices no longer because we like it but because it has become a necessity

Resources can take the form of the tools, materials, devices, people, and settings that learners interact with to improve learning and performance. Historically, the identity of the field is intertwined with the use of the emerging technologies of any given era. In the latter half of the 20th century, the field grew beyond the earlier, simpler, resource-driven conception of educational technology.

8.- What aspects are you disagree with?

I really do not disagree with any point, what I would like is for more federal funds to be available for all those people who really can not have access to all the technological resources that we have because that limits the learning of many people in the world, that would be great.

TECHNOLOGY

THIS IS AN ARTICLE THAT I FOUND USING GOOGLE SCHOLAR, AND WAS JUST A TOPIC FOR LEARNING HOW TO MAKE A RESEARCH ON THE GOOGLE SCHOLAR TOOL.

IMPORTANCE OF TECHNOLOGY IN EDUCATION

One of the roles of ICT (Information and communications Technology)in education is creating certainty about using the information when are necessary. ICT can be a powerful tool that upgrades the quality and efficiency of education so there is no need to be physically present in the classroom. The training based on ICT has some features such as distance education, flexibility, interaction, active learning, cooperation, and motivation (Farajollahi & Sanaye'i, 2009) What makes the important distinction between E-learning and the other method are: the diversity of content, the large number of audiences, different learning styles, and the different needs of users; in addition, we should mention that in this method the overall cost and time will be saved.

The use of technology has many things in favor, we can take advantage of the effectiveness it provides us, in various devices through the use of the internet such as computers, browsers, tablets, electronic whiteboards, screens, etc. with which we can involve participants to develop individually or in groups.

All this provides us with learning and communication tools with our students, which we can use to have simultaneous contact through forums, e-mails, and messages.

It also helps us to develop the exchange of information in less time, which the student will be able to use to understand and search for information autonomously.

This helps to improve the learning of the student and the teacher through interacting with technological tools helping the student to increase and improve their communication which will result in feedback.

We can also make use of audio-visual materials that will facilitate the understanding of the students.

Another benefit of the use of technology in the educational system is the ability to collect and disseminate information through text and graphics, as part of the process of teaching and learning, strengthening their skills.

Within a classroom, we can rely on all of these tools, as well as videoconferencing or the use of distance or virtual education. A short time ago we saw the need to use such tools as distance education or electronic communication, due to the pandemic, which were indispensable tools to communicate in the education system, there are many tools that we need to implement, but after these events, we can realize the need for them.

We also find other difficulties, not only to update the educational system in technology, but also some deficiencies such as internet connectivity, economic and social differences, and some external factors that we must learn to manage such as distractions outside the classroom.

INNOVATE IN EDUCATION

A great number of studies have determined the problem of innovations in the education of future teachers in which several tasks have been implemented  The ICT is used as a way to develop new innovative educational technologies it Works to create an innovative higher education environment. It is supposed teachers have to use their creativity, which is viewed as an ability to teach, creativity it’s something that determines a flexible and constructive perception, thinking, and human behavior.

A lot of research has demonstrated that creativity is one of the most important traits of people, teachers have to introduce innovative didactics, just to facilitate and get better teaching in the learning of their students, and all of this includes the use of the technological resources, like the computer, social media, and all kind of new resources that continue appearing every day.

Now it is supposed that teachers have to innovate their methods because it's impossible that them to continue with the old-school method, things have changed, and the world has changed too, so it is important to grow up and advance with all the new technologies.

There is something real, and that’s the fact that not all teachers are ready today to innovate in their field. Modern education nowadays could be a cultural space that will allow a person to acquire a new cultural identity.

The qualities. A future teacher must be today one of the main directions of improving teacher training

All the teachers must be prepared. I mean their preparation should be built as a way to develop their self-development skills.

It’s really important that the teacher could be able to analyze their own professional capabilities and skills. The most important component of training is an advanced creative imagination and the ability to apply it. Right now the need to develop a technology for developing the creative skills of the students of pedagogical institutions is really important and relevant.

Technological resources implemented in the classroom - Essay-
Many of today’s high-demand jobs were created in the last decade, according to the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE). As advances in technology drive globalization and digital transformation, teachers can help students acquire the necessary skills to succeed in their careers of the future.

The effective use of digital learning tools in classrooms can increase student engagement, help teachers improve their lesson plans, and facilitate personalized learning. It also helps students build essential 21st-century skills.

Virtual classrooms, video, augmented reality, robots, and other technology tools can not only make the classes more lively but can also create more inclusive learning environments that foster collaboration and inquisitiveness and enable teachers to collect data on student performance.

Educational Technology Challenges

Educators need to be able to develop and weigh in on online educational content, especially to encourage students to consider a topic from different perspectives. The urgent actions taken during this crisis did not provide sufficient time for this. Access is an added concern — for example, not every school district has resources to provide students with a laptop, and internet connectivity can be unreliable in homes.

Additionally, while some students thrive in online education settings, others lag for various factors, including support resources. For example, a student who already struggled in face-to-face environments may struggle even more in the current situation. These students may have relied on resources that they no longer have in their homes.

Still, most students typically demonstrate confidence in using online education when they have the resources, as studies have suggested. However, online education may pose challenges for teachers, especially in places where it has not been the norm.

The Benefits of Technology in Education
Technology provides students with easy-to-access information, accelerated learning, and fun opportunities to practice what they learn. It enables students to explore new subjects and deepen their understanding of difficult concepts. Through the use of technology inside and outside the classroom, students can gain 21st-century technical skills necessary for future occupations.

Still, children learn more effectively with direction. The World Economic Forum reports that while technology can help young students learn and acquire knowledge through play, for example, evidence suggests that learning is more effective through guidance from an adult, such as a teacher.  m,.-
